“I feel I will unfortunately be suckered in to watch, but once again (maybe for the 5th season running?) will end up underwhelmed, dissappointed and frustrated at dumb overly convulated (but still somehow overly boring) plot points”
Pam is still amazing in the newest episode of True Blood, "Somebody That I Used to Know" (Ha, Gotye reference? Weird). Pam confused me with how she was acting toward Tara working in the bar, but she definitely has something wonderful in mind for her in the newest episode!

That would be amazing. Tara could be Carla, and Pam could be Rebecca in the Cheers scenario. The V episode would have to be a holiday episode be called "Happy Holdiays with V."

Ah! I didn't get a chance to check her out last night but she is quickly becoming my favorite character. I really want a spin off series about her running the bar. You could have the rest of the cast pop in occasionally, 'Cheers' style. You could also have a "very special episode" about V addiction
