Gabriel commented on Giancarlo Stanton Monster Homerun Sunday Versus the Cubs:
“Amazing home run. Few players in baseball can hit that ball so hard and far. Can't wait for Stanton to earn freedom from the glorified AAA team Marlins and play for a real MLB club.”
You might know Trevor Bauer as the 21-year-old Arizona Diamondbacks prospect, the right-handed pitcher taken No. 3 overall in last year's MLB draft. More likely, you've never heard of him ever.
But did you know he also raps? Like, really, really badly?
The Santa Clarita, Calif.-native is a part of the rap duo "Consummate 4sight" with a high school buddy of his. Here's the song "Diamond In The Rough." Bauer pitched a few games in the big leagues this year, without much success, but he's got a bright future. On the baseball diamond, that is. If he ever does develop into a successful pro athlete, he's really going to regret that he ever released this song. Or hell, even if he never amounts to anything, he'll probably regret this.
Is this the worst athlete rap performance of all time?
Thank you Trevor Bauer, for reminding us what bad rap is all about.
