“"Get Lucky" just might be my favorite too... still get suck a kick out of hearing it... although I was really pleasantly taken aback by the variety of sounds on "Giorgio By Moroder" and "Touch."”

“While this might change after a few more times through the full album, I still think I am feeling "Get Lucky" the most. However, everything is so good.”
Feel like giving your turntable a workout? Or disassembling your roommates and neighbors's faith in humanity while also rattling their back teeth into fine white dust? You're in luck—1972 Records announced plans earlier today to re-release Aphex Twin's nineties classics …I Care Because You Do (1995) and The Richard D. James Album (1996) on vinyl for the first time in nearly a decade. (In case you missed it, the underground label also released James's 1994 essential Selected Ambient Works Volume II earlier this year.)
According to Consequence Of Sound, both albums will be arriving sans bonus tracks… I know, sad face. (Richard D. James Album is reportedly being re-pressed on a single LP, while the hour-plus …I Care Because You Do will be spread out over two records.) I know, I know, heavy sigh, but if you're an Aphex Twin fantastic and especially if you don't already own two of his best albums on vinyl, you're going to want to wiggle your way down to your local brick and mortar music shop on September 18. Don't say you weren't told.
Anyone else beyond psyched to pick up everyone's favorite Aphex Twin albums on vinyl this fall? Get the conversation started in our comments section below.
