I'm the girl in the coffee shop every morning at 6am, typing away frantically while you wonder what I could possibly have to say that early in the morning. I'm the chick at the bar alone with a pen and notebook sipping a craft beer having the time of her life. I'm the epitome of an aspiring writer. I bartend in search of interesting bar guests I can craft into fascinating characters, I revel in awkward situations, and I can turn the ugliest thing you've ever heard into the most beautiful words you will ever read. I have never shied away from a challenge, so I figured I wouldn't start now. I have an eye for finding art in the most unlikely places, and that is what I am going to dedicate this ology to. Everyone needs a reason to smile, so if I could bring even a smirk to your face, I'd consider that a job well done. I'm a firm believer that if you can find at least one positive a day, it'll make all the negative things that happen seem much less important. Really, it works. Trust me.
