Native Coloradan, Deborah Mendez Wilson, writes a poignant piece about Friday’s theater massacre and how it shouldn’t define the beautiful state of Colorado. Wilson touches on how people are trying to process this horrific crime and why it happened… again.
Wilson states, “Until we get the answers, we'll continue to grapple with our shock and sadness. Our hearts will be heavy for the victims and their families. And, yes, we'll feel sadness, anger and frustration that this has happened here and everywhere, again and again. It’s not our Colorado.”
