Nothing is going to stop Katie Holmes from getting back into the business! Just a few weeks after signing the Tom Cruise divorce papers on July 9, the actress has already signed up for her first project. Holmes has signed on to star in Theresa Rebeck’s new play Dead Accounts on Broadway this fall. The cast only includes five people and Holmes will play the lead role of Lorna.

The play will be directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien and will open in NYC at the Music Box Theatre. This will be Holmes’ first return to Broadway since All My Sons in 2008.
Holmes has been keeping busy with daughter Suri in Manhattan since the divorce. She recently enrolled Suri in Catholic school and bought a NYC apartment for the two. Suri has also been spending quality time with her father this week. They've recently been on a helicopter ride and visited Suri’s gymnastics studio.
Looks like the actors are keeping everything normal! Happy that Holmes has found work and that Suri is enjoying her first visit since the divorce with Tom!
