Michelle Janneke is the dancing hurdler. Her video has gone viral today. You won't be able to look away.
The 19-year-old Australian's warm up perfomance came at the World Junior Championship in Barcelona last weekend. She won't be hurdling at the Olympics, which is damn shame. A lot of people today are watching this video and hanging their heads over the sexualization of female athletes, etc., etc. They ain't wrong, I suppose. But girls just want to have fun, you guys. And that's what Michelle Janneke is doing. To me, she's a heroine. She's an inspiration. She's just a gal who loves dancing and running and jumping and she doesn't care who knows it.
Oh jeez, are you still reading this? Do you realize that I'm just writing words right now, meaningless words, because I need to hit a minimum word count or this precious video won't get indexed by google.
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
I knew a girl once who was a hurdler. I always tried to brag with her that I could beat her in a race while I was running barefooted. Finally, we had the race one drunken night after leaving the bar, running through a city street. She blew me away, as everyone knew she would. She was really fast at running.
Why aren't you watching that video, by the way? Did I mention it went viral?
