A handful of minor league clubs around the country employ bat dogs, instead of bat boys and girls. I suppose they're, in some cases, cuter, and they make for cheaper labor. But then of course you have to pay someone to pick up their shit. But I bet the shit pickers make are a little cheaper than bat boys.
