Carly Rae Jepsen has basically been telling the youths out there (yes, youths) all summer that she would gladly give a guy her number. In fact, she would write it down and ask him all flirty that he should give her a ring if he ever so desired, maybe. But, has she really ever done such a thing in real life? Nope, she hasn't.

YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT MUSIC VIDEOS AND SONG LYRICS SOMETIMES DON'T REFLECT THE REAL LIFE OF THE PERSON THAT IS SINGING?

Yes, that seems to be the case. The "Call Me Maybe" singer tells the Huffington Post that to do such a thing would be quite uncomfortable for her. "I've done brave things for love before or for the possibility of the idea of love, but I've never quite done that and I'm pretty sure now that I never can because that would be really, really awkward," she admits.
