Daniel Tosh Fan Insists Karen Elson Should Be Raped So She Can "Lighten Up After Getting Some"

As if every outlet — both news and personal — has weighted in on the idiocy that was Daniel Tosh's rape joke (in case you've somehow evaded this tidbit, Tosh told an audience member it would be funny is she "got raped by like, five guys right now" after she interrupted his previous ridiculously insensitive and decidedly unfunny rape joke), it seems not everyone's done throwing in their two cents.

Tosh has since half-apologized for the event (though he couldn't be bothered to use capital letters), but his fans aren't giving up without an offensive, victimizing anti-feminist fight. Yesterday, model-slash-musician-slash-perfect-person Karen Elson took to the Twitters to react (or, as Tosh calls it, "heckle"), saying "Daniel Tosh didn’t get the memo that [rape] never was and never will be funny.”

It took mere minutes for Tosh's insanely rabid fans to attempt to tear Elson to shreds (much to no avail, obvs) with a series of insensitive comments. The worst of which seemed to be this:

Elson — now presumably steaming at the ears, shocked at the vitriol flowing her way after she stood up for, you know, humanity — reacted better than I ever could have. While I may or may not have traced down that asshole's IP address and tried like hell to bludgeon his privates (JK!), Karen preached, girl! tweeted:

Until you have walked in a woman's shoes and have to walk in a world were being sexually harassed is common you may understand my point

So there you have it, folks. The United States: Where Women Are Consistently Girl-Shamed And Stripped Of Their Basic Human Rights On A Bi-Weekly Basis! Sounds like a real win for all of us! UGH. Just as a note, you guys don't actually think women enjoy getting raped, right? You know we don't enjoy when you act like our bodies are things you can gawk at and vanquish at your will, right? You know rape jokes that make women the weak butt of a joke are just a mere representation of your marked self-doubt and insecurity as a man, right? Phew! Glad that's settled.

Voice Of Reason: I hope she realizes that when she poses provocatively in photos she contributes to "a world were being sexually harassed is common" maybe if you(Karen) kept your clothes on in all of your photos people would objectify you a little less.
