You can never have too much of a good thing-and in this case, good things are muscular men in little to no clothing. That's right, Magic Mike fans: there's a sequel in the works. Never underestimate the power of box office numbers, guys.
When asked during a Glamour UK Twitter Q&A if a sequel to Magic Mike was possible, the film's star/new Evel Knievel Channing Tatum responded, "Yes, yes and yes! We're working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger."
There's no word on whether director Steven Soderbergh will return to direct the sequel, in addition to the original cast of Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and Cody Horn returning to their (ahem) meaty roles.
However, there's nothing set in stone yet. For those who have seen the film, a sequel may seem out of the question. Oh well...guess there's always the prequel option?
Also, there's a Magic Mike musical in development, if you're into that sort of thing.
