Watch Arctic Monkeys Perform New Song "Mad Sounds"
Still no word when Arctic Monkeys will release that super-secretive fifth album of theirs, although the band did debut yet another brand new song, this one titled "Mad Sounds," during their performance at the NorthSide Festival in Denmark this weekend. (Missed the last one? Check out fan footage of "Do I Wanna Know?" right here.)

"There's no time deadlines or anything like that for release. We're just getting back into it, because it always takes a while to get back into it," drummer Matt Helders
Exactly ten years ago this week, 37-year-old producer and sound engineer James Murphy released "Losing My Edge," the debut LCD Soundsystem single that famously referenced more hip-obscure bands than your local record store dweeb while delving into more layers of post-modern irony than previously attempted by human beings. A decade on, LCD Soundsystem have thrown in the proverbial towel, but you'll be able to relive the tunes, the times and Murphy's eternal five o'clock shadow in Shut Up And Play The Hits, the new documentary capturing the band's final 48 hours, in select theaters on July 18.
Murphy, donning his always awkwardly amazing all-white suit, dropped by last night's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to plug the film, reminisce about almost writing for Seinfeld and jam with The Roots on a cover of The Whispers' "And The Beat Goes On." (He so would.) Check it out below.
If he gets any spare time in between writing his noveland brewing his own coffee, I think James Murphy would make a pretty decent back up rhythm guitarist. Take note Questlove—every band worth their salt needs at least one dude with that severely hungover English professor sort of look. Just saying.
(p.s. Ohmygod Hatful Of Hollow colors. I genuinely got excited. I'm going to go play with my shadow in the corner for a while now.)
