Most of the September covers have been revealed, and though some aren't too shocking (Lady Gaga for Vogue, Katy Perry for Elle, Victoria Beckham for Glamour), there's a few I definitely wasn't expecting (Jennifer Lopez for InStyle, Penelope Cruz for W, Miley Cyrus for Marie Claire, Nicole Kidman for V Magazine). Thoughts? [WWD]
Teens and non-teens alike will be gathering in Times Square to protest Teen Vogue's use of Photoshop in the magazine, lead by Carina Cruz and Emma Stydahar, who are members of advocacy group SPARK. Previously, Teen Vogue's PR director Erin Kaplan released this statement, which basically says they're gonna keep doin' what they do:
Teen Vogue makes a conscious and continuous effort to promote a positive body image among our readers. We feature healthy models on the pages of our magazine and shoot dozens of non-models and readers every year and do not retouch them to alter their body size. Teen Voguepledges to continue this practice.
Carina and Emma will present Teen Vogue with a petition of more than 26,000 signatures. [Fashionista]

"I wear comfortable clothing so I am free to play. I'm an emotional dresser so it depends on my mood. I do not plan my outfits and just go with what I feel fits best for the day ... My husband has great style, so I wouldn't try and change that for the world." [Telegraph]
Vera Wang and her husband of 23 years, Arthur Becker, have decided to separate "mutually and amicably. They remain devoted parents to their two daughters." So sad! [WWD]

Karlie Kloss got pretty crafty yesterday. Seriously: she retiled her bathroom and helped restore CITYarts’ Pieces for Peace mosaic at Jacob H. Schiff Playground. [Page Six]
It's time to stare at Robinson Cano wearing a cream blazer because why the hell not? Trust. [Yahoo]
Lea Michele and her annoyingly bubbly personality star in Candie's Fall 2012 ads. Makes sense. [FashionEtc]
In a pinch, Taylor Swift used a Sharpie as eyelier. We've all been there, right? [Refinery29]
