Gabriel commented on Giancarlo Stanton Monster Homerun Sunday Versus the Cubs:

Perhaps this is the question we should be asking: If you're Justin Verlander, why wouldn't you be dating Kate Upton? It looks like this is really happening, you guys.
More tips and clues are rolling in after Verlander and Upton were first linked to one another last week, and they really do seem to be an item. When I signed up to be a sportswriter I never really thought I'd be writing a story like this, but then again, as a Detroit Tigers fan and a red-blooded male, Justin Verlander and Kate Upton are pretty much my two favorite people in the world. So I say, good on them (although, is it possible this has anything to with JV stinking it up in the All Star game?).
We already knew that Upton attended a Detroit Tigers game last Friday night. We knew Upton and JV went to an Aerosmith concert (!) together on July 5th, but we didn't know for sure what became of them afterwards. Now we do. We think. We're pretty sure.
Upton and Verlander were reportedly spotted at a couple Detroit area bars after the concert on Thursday, and now we have an eye witness who has photos to prove it.
Amanda Waynick called a Detroit radio station to say that while she was at Coyote Joe's bar outside of Detroit, she spotted Verlander and asked him to take a photo with her, since it was Waynick's 25th birthday.
"I went up to him, told him it was my birthday and that he was my Tiger and asked if he would take a picture with me," Waynick told FM 98.7 Detroit. "He laughed, kind of walked by me, but he said no.
"I was like, 'OK, fine, I don’t want a picture with you anyway.' And he laughed at that, too."
But then the large-breasted blonde girl he was with came over and took a photo with her. That girl, it turns out, was Kate Upton.
"My girlfriend texted me on Sunday and said 'hey, you know that blonde girl you thought was Verlander's girlfriend? That was Kate Upton,'" Waynick said. "They were pretty much all over each other at the bar."
The Buck And Coop radio show got ahold of a couple other photos from Verlander and Upton's night out, in which the couple can be seen gettin' friendly the the background. The images seem to confirm the rumors.
What do you think of Justin Verlander dating Kate Upton? Disappointing JV appears to be no longer with his high school sweetheart/longtime girlfriend, Emily Yuen? Or proud of Justin for wooing the most beautiful woman in America?
