It has finally arrived! Pitchfork Music Festival will be taking over Union Park in Chicago this weekend, with acts ranging from Grimes to A$AP Rocky to Vampire Weekend. It is a magical 72 hours chock full of some of the most envigorating, innovative names in music.
eMusic, a digital music discovery and download service and official partner of Pitchfork Music Festival 2012 has graciously offered readers the amazing opportunity to attend the event.
Here's how to win your Pitchfork Tix:
1. Visit the "Pitchfork Festival 2012" group on Ology.com and hit the green follow button.
**Following the group (aka "ology") will allow you to get festival updates, performance video, behind-the-scenes access, and more.
2. Once you hit "Follow," you'll be prompted to sign in to Ology.com using your Facebook, Twitter, or email address. Do it!
3. After you're signed in, write a quick post in the "Pitchfork Festival 2012" group, and explain why you want the festival tix and which artist you're most excited to see. Title your post "I Want Pitchfork Festival Tix." Throw in a picture, video, gif, or just words - whatever you think will get you noticed.
If you submit a post by 11am EDT on Wednesday, you are guaranteed entrance into the contest. Editors will determine the winners by 12pm EDT. The first prize winner will receive one VIP pass to the festival, offering you backstage access where the artists hang out. The second prize winner will receive two general admission passes, allowing you and a friend to soak in all the madness together.
