Remember that NBA trade rumor post we wrote, like, 10 minutes ago? The one about Kris Humphries? Yeah, it's now totally obsolete. Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports that a bigger, better, more blockbustery trade has been proposed in the Dwight Howard Saga, one that will blow the lid off trade rumors for a while. Are you ready for the deal? Can you handle the (sort of) truth? It's a three-teamer! Here we go.
Orlando Magic send to the Brooklyn Nets: Dwight Howard, Jason Richardson and Earl Clark.
Brooklyn Nets send to the Orlando Magic: Brook Lopez, Damion James, Shelden Williams and three first-round draft picks.
Brooklyn Nets send to the Cleveland Cavaliers: Sundiata Gaines, Kris Humphries (one-year deal, Kris, not the four you want), a first-round pick and $3 million.
Orlando Magic send to the Cleveland Cavaliers: Quentin Richardson.
Cleveland Cavaliers send to the Orlando Magic: Luke Walton.
Additionally, Brooklyn needs to find a team that wants Marshon Brooks so they can send another first-round pick Orlando's way. Who knows if this is true or if it will be rendered null and void within the hour, but we're having so much fun here that as my colleague Bison Messink suggests, the NBA should just abolish the regular season entirely and move straight to a new round of free agency every year. It's SO much more fun than actual games.
