Everything happened in tonight’s episode of True Blood “Lets Boot and Rally.” I’m going to list them in order of importance.
- Bill, Eric, Sooki and Alcide find Russell.
- Sam and Luna were shot by some anti-shifter dudes (wearing Obama masks?)
- Nora may be the person to blame for Russell’s escape but I also think it’s that biblical slut that sleeps with everyone. Politics.
- There’s a new supernatural thing in town and it’s called a freep. Or a freak. It's actually a lfrit. It can also be called the smoke monster from LOST.
- Tara and Jessica might be friends and it’s awesome.
- Lafayette’s mom is also some kind of witch doctor.
- Jason’s coming to terms with his sex addiction through finding out his parents were murdered.
Thank GOD Sookie has started to realize that she has to do stuff to earn her keep of relevancy. I don’t know if it was the drink or the projectile vomitting but the fact that she in’t so helpless in this episode makes me pretty happy. For once, she’s doing her own dirty work. Of course, next episode she’ll be in some sort of mortal danger and every dude in the world will save her.
I mean, I’m just surprised that something actually happened with Sam and Luna because that whole shifter story line was getting boring really quick. And I’m not going to say that it’s good that Luna’s dead but I’m also convinced that I’m not going to miss her at all.
My favorite part of this episode was the fact that Jessica and Tara could be friends. I really want to see the two of them be besties. Tara obviously messes that up because she feeds on Hoyt, but I think that Jessica might be able to overlook that. I just really want to see the two of them hit the world together. I smell spin off series!
The most random moments of the night was curtesy of Terry’s subplot dealing with Jacob from LOST the lfrit. Here’s the wikipedia page for that, but all you need to know is that it’s basically a demon like thing from Islamic and Arabic cultures. I’m always down for a new supernatural thing in a show like True Blood. It makes describing the program to non viewers that much more ridiculous. But really, could they have picked some different sound effects for the smoke?
What did y’all think of tonight? Did anyone else see Jon Hamm in that pile of bodies at the abandoned hospital? Was that just a lfrit playing a trick on me? Let’s talk about it.
