Has anyone else been to the beach-themed "Surf Bar" on North 6th St. in Brooklyn? I wasn't expecting the place to be so..."beachy," but the ambiance is great, and it would be an awesome place to unwind after work on a Friday night. There's an indoor and an outdoor section. *Word of advice - Don't wear nice shoes, as the entire floor is covered in sand.
