1.TMZ reported Thursday that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were on the rocks and that they "have broken up several times in the last few months." They split as recently as last week but have since gotten back together and are figuring things out.
2. Hollywood's favorite teen couple are spotted together in L.A. that very night. Looking as happy as could be, Justin is seen holding Selena's hand after a romantic dinner date at Pink Pepper restaurant.
3. Of course, critics may think it is all for show, but like its been reported, the two are still together. When asked what he thought about the recent media headline the singer simply stated, "What does it look like?"
4. But, that doesn't mean the two haven't gone through trouble before. A source tells People that Selena "was crying about Justin and was upset" during Ashley Tisdale's 27th birthday bash recently. She was caught jumping on a male friend's back on the beach that day.
5. Days before, she and Justin both attended Katy Perry's film premiere and were seen grabbing ice cream while out on a walk. Just a few weeks before that Selena showed up backstage at the Apollo Theatre to cheer on Justin during his secret show in Harlem.
6. If any crazed fan needs even more proof, yes, a source has confirmed that the two are still quite serious. "If anything, they are tighter now more than ever," a source tells E! Online. The only difference? This source seems to be the only one that argues that they have never split period. In fact, a breakup between the two is "the furthest thing from the truth you could imagine." Hmm..
7. Truth is, yes, they've probably split before. But a source normalizes the situation to Us Weekly. "They are kids. Of course there are times they fight. Their schedules are the biggest problem.
