Watch Black Sabbath Debut "End Of The Beginning" On 'CSI' Season Finale
I don't know how or why Black Sabbath wound up on last night's season finale of CSI, performing "End Of Beginning" from their Rick Rubin produced reunion album 13 (out June 11), but they did… it happened… and now it's up to all of us to just deal with that.

The episode (currently streaming in full on CBS.com) kicks off with Black Sabbath performing at a small rock club (because that happens) and later even features a dynamic scene between Ted Danson and Ozzy Osbourne. By "dynamic," of course, I mean ...
There are a few things I think we can all agree we know about Black Label Society frontman and ex-Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde. For instance, he really, really loves all things Ozzy-related. Also, we'd be very, very reluctant to disagree or take issue with anything he does, says or decides. Because, well, we're not huge fans of getting our asses handed to us in that painful, literal sort of way.
That's why, despite all instinctual pressure to do otherwise, I'm going to throw an enthusiastic double thumbs up behind Wylde's latest creative endeavor: naming his newborn sun after Black Sabbath.
Yes, it's true: Zakk and his wife Barbaranne welcomed their fourth child into the wild this week, bestowing it with the preposterously beyond-metal name of Sabbath Page Wielandt Wylde. Yeah, whoa. Exactly. For those counting at home, that's exactly one direct reference to the first and still greatest heavy metal band of all time and possibly a half-reference (total guess here) to Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. It's a sensible guess; Zakk does have a kid named Hendrix, after all.
Yes, I too was quick to jump to "that kid is going to have one hell of a time on the school playground with a name like that" conclusions. But consider that, 1.) few words in the English language demand as much instant male respect as the mere utterance of "Sabbath," and 2.) his dad is Zakk Wylde. Seriously, I don't envy that baby's eventual school bullies. Who wants to be the first dude in the history of the universe to have a problem with Sabbath?
Any thoughts on Zakk Wylde's not entirely creative but still pretty badass baby-naming abilities? Hit up our comments section below.
