White Lies, one of my favorite lesser-known groups, are set to release new album Big TV (their follow-up to 2011's fantastic Ritual) on August 13 here in the U.S. The monolithic post-rockers will officially drop lead single "There Goes Our Love Again" on August 5… until then, though, you can check it out on Soundcloud below.

Listen: Arctic Monkeys Leak New Single "Do I Wanna Know?"
Arctic Monkeys have "official leaked" their latest single "Do I Wanna Know?", the new track they debuted last month on the first date of their still-ongoing tour. A slow-burning, tightly wound bit of business, the song will presumably show up on their still super secretive fifth album. (Check out fan footage of another new song, "Mad Sounds," right here.)

"There's no time deadlines or anything like that for release. We're just getting back into it, because it always takes a while to get back into it," drummer Matt Helders

Still no word when Arctic Monkeys will release that super-secretive fifth album of theirs, although the band did debut yet another brand new song, this one titled "Mad Sounds," during their performance at the NorthSide Festival in Denmark this weekend. (Missed the last one? Check out fan footage of "Do I Wanna Know?" right here.)

Golden Retriever—multi-instrumentalists Jonathan Sielaff and Matt Carlson.
Sounds Like:
Long, extended instrumental works of dense, intricately layered analogue synthesizers arranged into spellbinding, rapturously imaginative harmonic experiments. Jonathan and Matt first met back in the early '00s when both were playing in separate experimental pop bands, Au and Parenthetical Girls respectively. Hooking up properly in 2008, the two began exchanging solo demo recordings and eventually settled down to record their self-titled debut in 2010. The even more otherworldly Light Cones dropped a year later; their new album Occupied With The Unspoken drops July 24 via Thrill Jockey Records.
