You guys, it's that time of the year again — Fourth of July — also known as Flaunt-Your-Patrioticism-As-Obnoxiously-As-You-Can-Day. With the national holiday approaching, it's time to come up with a plan. Are you going to: A) join the parade and be one of those annoying peeps who wave their flags vigorously in one another's face, B) have a laid-back barbecue and watch fireworks with a group of friends, or C) catch up on sleep while listening to Lana Del Rey's "National Anthem?" Even if it's all of the above (somehow), we've got one other option for you — read on to learn the super easy steps to wear Independence Day on your face!

Here's how:
Sure, you can go all out and draw an American flag across your face, (if you're 14, maybe?) but let's be realistic here. If you want something festive yet still wearable for a fun night out, all you need is a colored mascara (or color false lashes), a white pencil eyeliner, a black liquid liner and a bold red lip color.
Instead of your everyday black mascara, try a blue mascara, or better yet, blue false lashes — please, if you don't know how to properly put them on, please refrain from doing so or do some real in-depth research!!!
Next, apply eyeliner on your upper lash line as usual (try a winged style for a retro finish!), and draw your waterline with a white eyeliner to open up your eyes. Then, put on your favorite red lipstick or lip stain, and there you have it — white, blue and red all on your face! To add a touch of fun, use a black or white liquid eyeliner to draw a couple of stars on your cheek bones. If you're feeling extra festive, put a tiny amount of silver glitter on your inner tear ducts and brow bones for highlight effect and a pop of glam. Super cute, we say!
