"I got chased down the street by a large man wearing a sock around his… shouting 'Captain Kirk'!" he told the audience. "I think I made it back to my hotel in 12 minutes," he then added laughing. Just because Pine is promoting his new movie doesn’t mean his fans aren’t still obsessed with his role in Star Trek 2.
New York sure knows how to welcome their guests! But who can blame the guy?
The 31-year-old actor explained, "I didn’t realize it was Gay Pride day. It was like 150,000 men all very excited. I happened to be wearing a tank top, it was hot out."
Pine stars in People Like Us with Olivia Wilde, Michelle Pfeiffer and Elizabeth Banks, which hits theaters today!
