Watch This: Earl Sweatshirt And RZA Preview New Track At Syracuse
Well, I don't really know what's going on with Doris, but Earl's "Chum" and "Whoa" have certainly managed to stay in rotation while we're waiting for a release date, and to tag on some new content, Earl decided to preview a new RZA-featured track (untitled, as of now), while performing at Syracuse a moment ago.
As you would assume, Earl Sweatshirt's winding lyrics are as serpentine as ever, and the RZA action is as prime as could be. Though it's your basic iPhone recording, you can still catch a decent idea of what the track is going to sound like--somewhere between a chiller and heater, at least to me--and the hook, "I'm going to f*ck the freckles off your face," promises that this new track is going to be exactly what we saw on Earl way back when.
Thats about it. You can catch the track below. We'll keep you updated on Doris.

When I first flipped this video on, my mind ran back to a quick VHS film called Seven Years In The Bush that my neighbor shot in his backyard something like 10 years ago, but if you give it a minute, you find out that Tyler the Creator and Domo Genesis aren't just creating a Vietnam-esque clip for their track "Sam Is Dead" that's loaded down with war cliches and racial parody.
Directed by Wolf Haley, Sam Is Dead does a few of your usual things before taking some turns, and the creative aim keeps in tune with the Odd Future idea of doing things differently without crossing over into oddity for the oddity's sake like we've seen in their previous visuals.
I'm not going to ruin anything, because the flips are what make this work the way it does, but I will say, being not much of OFWGKTA fan, that Sam Is Dead is probably one of the better music videos we've seen this year.
Anyway, here it is, give it a watch, throw up your thoughts.
