It's rough being the resident… well, only… Linkin Park fan here at Ology, but hey, somebody's got to do it, right? The band's pretty solid new album Living Things is out now (check out my B+ review below) and on the off-hand chance you've managed to avoid hearing first single "Burn It Down," the band brought it to the Bud Light mega ultra corporate whatever stage in Los Angeles on last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Check it out, along with a bonus web-exclusive performance of Meteora standard "Faint," below.
"Burn It Down"
The band sound pretty solid, but poor Chester… I don't know if the guy's been giving too many interviews this week or what, but his voice sounds a little worse for wear. Stop forgetting his fucking frappuccino, Starbucks baristas of the world!
"Faint"
Always a favorite, but am I crazy or is the live mix a little out of whack? The bass is drowning out the guitars, I can barely hear that trademark sample loop, etc. The extended outro is pretty cool, though… it's always nice to see that Brad still has something to do on stage.
