Although Jen has had to deal with these rumors ever since she began dating Justin Theroux, there is proof this time in the form of a ring! Jennifer was spotted wearing a sparkly diamond as she and Justin returned from a romantic European getaway, but before any rumors spread, it should be noted that the ring is on Jennifer’s right hand…such trickery!

The couple was rumored to be scouting wedding locations in Paris, and seem to have been taking their relationship to the next level after moving in together a few months ago, so a proposal wouldn’t be out of the question, right? It’s not worth getting our hopes up though. According to the Huffington Post, Jennifer has been photographed wearing the same ring in the past, most notably at the 40^th AFI Life Achievement Awards Honoring Shirley MacLaine in Los Angeles!

This is definitely a little confusing: is Jen trying to hide a proposal by wearing it on the wrong hand or are they still strictly boyfriend-girlfriend? Because Justin seems to be quite private, there’s always the possibility that they’re secretly engaged. Only time will tell!
