Mike Tyson is amazing, or, as amazing as a convicted rapist can be. Still, Mike Tyson's turnaround seems surprisingly genuine for a guy who's had SO MANY problems; he talks about his past trangressions honestly and frankly, which is why people love him now and have forgiven him (for the most part).
Tyson's transformation has been so complete that he's going to be starring in a Broadway show about his life. That's right: Mike Tyson will be a Broadway star. He appeared on ESPN's Pardon the Interruption yesterday to talk about whatever the hell he wanted. It was pure gold.
Nothing I say can do justice to Tyson's own words, but when Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser ask him to give an example of a story he might tell in his show, he relates an anecdote about how he was still banging Robin Givens when they were going through a divorce, but it ended when she drove up to her house with Brad Pitt. Pitt reportedly turned Mike Tyson into a "wet noodle" and all the fight went out of him.
Can you imagine the balls Brad Pitt must have to roll up with Mike Tyson's wife in the late 1980s? Holy shit. Anywho, just watch the video. NOW.
Ken Browning:
Almost as good as the interview when he told the woman he was talking to that he doesn't usually do interviews with women unless they "fornicate" with him.
