While our editor Terron R. Moore slaves away at his full review of the Newsroom pilot, which you should probably know premieres tonight at 10pm on HBO, one of Ology's other esteemed editors, the classy, self-referential and feathered Terron R. Moore, is attempting to write this informative list of things you should probably know about Newsroom before its premiere: 1) it's created by Aaron Sorkin, who depending on your age is either the creator of The West Wing or the director of The Social Network, and both are solid identifiers as a guy who does pretty good at making screen stuff happen, 2) Jeff Daniels stars as news anchor Will McAvoy, a completely pompous asshole, and 3) tonight's episode, entitled "We Just Decided To", features a lot of that Jeff Daniels/Will McAvoy completely pompous assy-ness, and 4) aside from there being some fantastically completed efforts to make this newsroom a whirlwind of emotion and intensity and pride and truth, Ology's honored editor Terron R. Moore has furiously mixed opinions on the affair. So, you know. Tonight. Get excited!
The Newsroom premieres TONIGHT at 10pm on HBO, and check back here for our full recap right after the show.
