Way back in the summer YMCA basketball league, I recall fond memories of post-game Pizza Hut parties, maybe a barbecue, and the greatest rarity, a trip across town to chow cheap steak and waste upwards of $30 on arcade games to win enough tickets to trade for a $5 Michael Jordan alarm clock at Dave & Buster's. These were days of busy spending, friend, but apparently, times have evolved since my court days, as the LeBron James Miami Heat are reported to have dropped quite a hefty load down on South Beach following their NBA Championship win.
According to TMZ (who can always be trusted), LeBron and company whipped out a heavy $200K at Club LIV following the their heist of the trophy, plenty of which was, as Yahoo Sports reports, spent on a single bottle of Ace of Spades super magnum-sized champagne, which comes off at a cool $75K.
Other than that, the party held down "surprise performances, dancing women twirling flaming sticks, carbon dioxide guns and an awful lot of your favorite hip-hop classics," which, you know, is perfectly civilized.
Here's some visuals from the "incident." Give it a watch, throw up your thoughts.
