If you truly believe in something and/or someone, then ALWAYS stay True to that belief. Being a guy and an 'older generation Mahomie' (35) can often result in some odd and interesting reactions from others lol, but I stand firm in my belief in Austin. I've been following and promoting youth talent for a few years now, and every time I come across a kid with the passion and determination to be successful in their craft, it makes me smile with pride. It was over a year ago that I came across Austin Mahone on youtube. I observed a lot of positive reaction, but also a bit of negative, like, "He's copying Bieber", or "He isn't very good"...things like that. Let me tell you what I saw. I saw a kid with confidence, heart, and a true joy for what he was doing with his life. I listened to him sing and thought, 'This kid has a chance- a really good chance. His energy, and his presence-poise, confidence-will make him a GREAT entertainer'. But, I saw something else-something that is beyond the music and the popularity..I saw a kid that Cares..a kid with a great heart. It was immediately obvious that Austin had great passion for not only music, but for everyone and everything dear to him-family, friends, fans... Our world is full of negativity, and it is kids like Austin Mahone, who truly have the desire and the will to make a change, that shine a light of Hope and Positivity upon us all. I am a Mahomie, and I say so with Pride.
