A baby girl rocker has now been added to the Followill family! Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill and Victoria's Secret model Lily Aldridge have just welcomed a baby girl. Us Weekly can confirm that the two welcomed their first child together at Vanderbilt University & Medical Center in Nashville early Thursday morning.
The two first announced that they were expecting in December 2011. They married in May in Santa Barbara after first meeting at the Coachella Music Festival in 2007.
So, what's the baby girl's name? Dixie Pearl! She was born at 1 a.m. and weighed 7 lbs, 11 oz. She measured in at 22 inches.
Dixie is now the second little one for the band. Cousin Matthew Followill had a baby boy with wife Johanna Bennett in May 2011. Who knows, older brother Nathan who's married to singer Jessie Baylin or Jared who just got engaged could be next.
"I can now proudly proclaim my love 4 my gorgeous niece Dixie Pearl Followill. The prettiest baby girl I've ever seen. I love her so much," Nathan tweeted Friday.
Congratulations to Caleb and Lily! With those genes and talent, she's sure to be absolutely beautiful!
