Judd Apatow On How He First Got In Touch With Lena Dunham

As one of the biggest names in Hollywood, Judd Apatow continues to make huge blockbuster hits, while also producing the critically-acclaimed series Girls along with creator Lena Dunham. While receiving the Peabody Award for the HBO show in New York City Monday, May 20, Apatow let me in on his version of meeting the 27-year-old for the first time. "I saw her film Tiny Furniture. I emailed her that it was great and if she ever needed somebody to help her out to give me a call," he recalled. "She thought it was some joke of some kind. But she did call and happened to be working with my friend Jenni Konner on the pilot of Girls. So I was very lucky." 'Girls' Star Jemima Kirke Is Expecting Baby Number Two!

One of the stars of HBO’s Girls, Jemima Kirke, is pregnant with her second child! Kirke just gave birth to her daughter, Rafaella about ten months ago.

According to Us Weekly, Kirke and her attorney husband announced the news in New York City at the Cinema Society after party for Woody Allen’s recent movie To Rome With Love.

The actor, who lives in Brooklyn Heights, started filming the pilot of Girls just six weeks after giving birth to her first daughter. She told Vulture, "She came to set with me every day for the pilot."

Kirke explains she is very different from her character Jessa Johansson. "I get to drop the whole mom/wife thing and be this confused girl. I get to act that out and I get into it and then I think, 'Thank God I’m not there now!'"

We're sure her co-stars are excited about the news! Congratulations Jemima!
