The new Carrie Bradshaw AnnaSophia Robb (whom I don't really approve, but oh well) chatted with Fashionista about her new role in The Carrie Diaries. Here are the excerpts.
Fashionista: So how does it feel to be playing Carrie Bradshaw? AnnaSophia Robb: I’m really excited. It’s a bit nerve wracking but I think it will be a great show. We have a great cast and great writers and the fashion’s going to be amazing but it will definitely have a different flavor than the original Sex and the City because it’s for a younger audience. But I really hope to make Carrie Diaries the Sex and the City of my generation.
Fashionista: Do you have a favorite episode? Any favorite moments? AnnaSophia Robb: Um, I think “The Drought” is my favorite episode. It’s the one where she farts in bed and she’s mortified and it’s just so real and I love it.
Fashionista: Playing Carrie Bradshaw means you’ll be thrust into the fashion scene. Are you ready for it? How is it so far? AnnaSophia Robb: Ferragamo is one of the most elegant brands out there so to be introduced into the fashion world via Ferragamo is such an honor. And I love their clothes and their shoes.
