Look, I know New York can be a pretty crazy town sometimes, but I find it extremely hard to believe that any cab driver wouldn't notice a half-naked Mischa Barton running down the sidewalk after him. I mean, these guys have their eyes everywhere except the road, right? Also, I'm a little dismayed to see that Noel Gallagher has ditched the High Flying Birds to pursue his apparent true calling in life: staring out windows with stolid bemusement.
Check out this and much more (or, well, less, I suppose you might say) in the madcap new music video for current single "Everybody's On The Run" below.
Sure, sure, attractive skinny people in their underwear are fun and all, but I'm more pleases to see, at long last, the return of the Stuff Happening In Big Cities music video format. Remember when they used to make tons of these? The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony"… Joseph Arthur's "In The Sun"… the list goes on and on. This one's a little Run Lola Run meets the imaginary episode of The O.C. I never got to see. As much as I miss Oasis, I've got to say, Noel's been kicking out some pretty great videos lately. Don't give it up, mate! The cabbie life isn't for you!
What do you guys think of Noel Gallagher's "Everybody's On The Run" video and, more importantly, the gratuitously fantastic moment at 4:52 that ends with Noel's hilariously creepy nod. (I almost laughed coffee all over myself.) Hit up our comments section below.
