Turn Your Dog Into A Douchebag With PetSmart's Bret Michaels Pets Rock Collection

Turns out Bon Iver's Justin Vernon isn't the rock star with pets on the brain this week (see below). Poison singer turned reality TV standby Bret Michaels has (just go with me on this) teamed up with PetSmart to unveil the new Bret Michaels Pets Rock collection of dog toys, leashes, beds, clothes, collars and other accessories. This is, of course, not to be confused with my own person Bret Michaels pet rocks collection (they all have little bandanas super-glued on), which I keep in the backyard by the compost heap.

"I know there are other pet parents like me who want to show off their pets in rock-star style," says Michaels. "I've been a pet lover since I was a child so I created this line for everyone who wants something unique to rock their pets' world."

I don't know, I was mostly on board until the chipper muzak kicked in. "Partnering with Bret Michaels allows us to offer pet parents unique products that are reflective of their pets' personalities," says PetSmart merchandising vice-president Laurie Taylor. "The rocker vibe of the Bret Michaels Pets Rock collection extends PetSmart's assortment of exclusive products, adding yet another one-of-a-kind option for pet parents."

Because nothing says "rocker vibe" like a cuddler bed, right? Double woof. Check it all out for yourself over at PetSmart.com.
