Starting out as a commercial model, Fatima Ptacek probably never thought she'd one day be the voice of an iconic animated character while attending the Oscars in the very same year. At only 12 years old, Ptacek has performed in the Oscar-winning 19 minute short Curfew written and directed by Shawn Christensen, and is currently the voice of Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer. “My favorite Nicholas Sparks book/movie is definitely Safe Haven because it's a lot different from all his other films. There's a romantic aspect but not only that, there's also a thriller side to it that keeps everyone going. We also see the main characters fall in love through the smallest things. Though the book offered more details about what went on with Katie's past life, the movie captured the basic essence of the book and I absolutely loved it. It's a much more realistic story rather than The Notebook or The Lucky One. I even got most of my friends hooked into the book and the movie. :)”
