We already raved to you about Cee Lo's newest song, the upbeat revenge tune "F*ck You," but all we could offer then was the NSFW sing-along video with lyrics. However, the official music video for the single has hit the Internet and it is just way too cool. Playing on the retro vibes already in the music, the footage takes us into Cee Lo's fictional past, where girls pass him up for guys with cash to burn. Suddenly the song seems more legitimate--at first hearing the Gnarls Barkley singer discuss money problems seems disingenuous, however, believing that he had some issues pre-fame is much easier.
Just like the song itself, the video is triumphant because it is so joyous, in spite of its condemning title. Cee Lo makes break ups fun, a pleasant change from the expected moody song that often comes following heartbreak (and the video just makes it all that much better).
