Gaga and Ono will team up

Most things get better with a zebra. Most things get even better with Lady Gaga. Yoko knows this.

The only thing better than a Lady Gaga / Yoko Ono musical number would be a Lady Gaga / Yoko Ono buddy cop movie. Think about it! Yoko's a former loose cannon who's cooled down and become a by-the-book mentor for Gaga, the upstart newcomer. Together, they wear ridiculous outfits, fight crime, and just generally demand attention. I think it'd be genius.

Unfortunately, we're gonna have to settle for a concert.

Yoko Ono's just starting a concert series at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles, and she's hoping to replicate the success her Plastic Ono Band found in February by welcoming other musical luminaries to the stage. The earlier concerts included folks like Eric Clapton and Paul Simon; the upcoming L.A. shows will involve Iggy Pop, Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon, and, yes, Lady Gaga herself. Gaga will join Ono onstage on October 2nd accompanied by the Plastic Ono Band, under the direction of Ono's son Sean Lennon. Definitely sounds like a winning combination.

I think these two have very compatible weirdness. If all goes as planned, they should just keep pushing one another over the top, with predictably awesome results.

I would probably pay exorbitant amounts of money to hear Yoko Ono back up Lady Gaga on "Bad Romance."
