If there’s one band you’d want to see throw together a t-shirt line with Obey, it would totally be Jennifer the Lepoard (also known as J-Lep). So we were psyched to hear that the two got to business and churned out some graphic tees that highlight the J-Lep girls’s spunk and rely on Obey’s DIY aesthetic.
Watch the girls talk with 80sPurple about how the band, or as they like to call it: performance art/punk project, came together and what they put into the collaboration.
And it is pretty awesome that their moms can see their shirts somewhere. Maybe they’ll finally see that all that time their daughters spent running around in loud outfits singing silly little songs was actually worth it.
