The line's called "Material Girl." I'm sold.
Not only will Madonna be partnering with Macy's to produce the women's juniors line, dropping in the fall of 2010, but she's just signed on with Iconix, the branding group that represents Rocawear, Candie's and Danskin (fun company to keep). Supposedly this Material Girl line is only the first in Madonna's new fashion venture.
From the '80s to the start of the '90s Madonna was as much a fashion icon as a music icon. Frankly, I still aspire to dress exactly the way she did in "Desperately Seeking Susan."

My main question is, are we talking Madonna then or Madonna now? Let's face the facts, here. "Then" was brilliant. "Now" is boring.
But hey, good luck to her-- I'm just saying, if I can't find some fishnet gloves at Macy's come fall, I'm peacing.
