I'm totally embarrassed to say this, but I've got to be honest with myself. It's the only way. I don't care if Lindsay Lohan snorts coke off of toddlers and bathes in shrooms and is more vodka than human, she seems like a fun chick to hang out with. Like, okay, she's definitely been to rehab more times than I've blinked in my entire life, but look at how witty she can be on David Letterman! It's not only that she takes Dave's banter—most of which is directed at her excessive drug and alcohol usage and upcoming eighty-leventh stint in rehab—but she completely takes control of the interview in a charming (I know), likable (I know), and hilarious (I know!) way, despite sounding like a butch lesbian the entire time while promoting Scary Movie 5 (complete with a Charlie Sheen clip). Despite his generosity, Sheen was vocal about the star’s apparent lack of gratitude, publicly revealing that he had yet to receive a thank you from the troubled actress. Lohan reportedly remedied her actions over the weekend, sending the actor a bouquet of flowers with a thank-you note. The guess that Lindsay Lohan assaulted a woman Thursday morning for not liking Liz & Dick may be funny, but nothing is fun about what Lohan has been going through the past few years. What once was a running joke about what has become of the Mean Girls star is just downright sad at this point. TMZ reports that Lohan was arrested and jailed after allegedly punching a woman at NYC club Avenue just a few short hours ago. Lala Cornstock: It's is sad and unfortuante that the world does not see her as mentally ill. She is obviously incapable of living -- this is not a matter of willpower...she's sick. How can we help her rather than gossip. ('Wish the states wouldn't give her 1-2 minutes when she deserved 3-4 years?) Let's all hope she doesn't ened up dead--which is, at this rate, inevitable--when the last thing we said about her was what a "f*cking horror she is". She's not more than human. Take away the celeb status and she's suffering, just like the rest of us are.
