What a strong woman. First cancer and now a brain tumor. Sheryl Crow recently told the Las Vegas Review Journal that she discovered she had a brain tumor after getting an MRI. Luckily, the singer does not have anything serious to worry about because it is benign and doesn't require surgery.
"I haven’t really talked about it," she told the publication. "In November, I found out I have a brain tumor. But it’s benign, so I don’t have anything to worry about."
The singer felt the need to receive an MRI after realizing her memory was declining. Last month she forgot the words to possibly her most famous song, "Soak Up the Sun", while performing in Florida.
"Not only could I not remember the first line, I couldn't remember the first line to any of the verses," Sheryl told the Journal. "I’m 50, what can I say? My brain’s gone to shit."
Crow, who battled breast cancer in 2006, is a mother to two young boys. Fortunately she is healthy and continuing to perform despite this shocking discovery. Stay strong Sheryl!
