This morning, the music industry and fans worldwide took another heartbreaking hit. The Queen of Disco, Donna Summer, lost her battle with lunger cancer. She was only 63.
The five-time Grammy winner rose to fame in the 70's with club hits like "Last Dance," "Hot Stuff" and "Bad Girls." Sources report that the singer was finishing up new material to be released on an upcoming music album she planned to release soon. Friends and family of the iconic songbird also released a statement saying, "[we] are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continue legacy."
It truly saddens us to mourn the death of yet another legendary music icon! May she truly rest in enternal peace.
