As expected, massively popular, record-smashing singer/songwriter Adele took home an extra double-handful of awards (six in total, tying the previous record for most Grammy wins in a single night by a solo female artist) including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Pop Solo Performance, Pop Vocal Album, and at least two or three other categories that Skrillex and Bon Iver were also nominated in. Super weird. Foo Fighters were the only rock n' roll band in the entire world, Jay-Z and Kanye West were too busy watching the throne to show up... all in all, the 54th Annual Grammy Awards were heavy on all-star performances and short on surprises.
