Giuliana Rancic, who recently revealed that she has breast cancer, is now recovering after surgery. She underwent a double lumpectomy this past Tuesday and has been doing well ever since. Her husband, Bill Rancic, was on Today this morning to report on Giuliana's status. He told viewers that he is "adding nurse to his resume" and that his wife "is having a lot of fun with that." I am glad to know that Bill is being a good husband.
I am sure we can all agree that we're happy to hear that Mrs. Rancic is doing well. Her coming out and revealing she has breast cancer is so important this month. October is breast cancer awareness month and is certain to help Giuliana's story has helped a lot of women become more aware of the serious disease. Also, it's great to hear that she is taking care of business quickly and, with luck, completely. Giuliana had cancerous growths removed as well as lymph nodes that could have possibly been affected.
After six weeks of radiation therapy for Giuliana, Bill said that the couple will start 2012 with a whole new outlook on life. Having a famous couple like the Rancics raise breast cancer awareness is bound to shed light on such a horrible disease. We hope you get well soon Giuliana! We need you back on that red carpet looking fabulous!!!
