I promise, you aren't the only one clawing at your wrists because you won't be in London's Hyde Park this Sunday evening to catch Blur closing out the Summer Olympics closing ceremony with special guests New Order and The Specials… a headline gig so massively important, it required several lead-up gigs… a gig so monumental, it may very well be the last thing Blur do together as a band ever. I know, claw claw claw. There's good news, though.

Word has just broken that Blur, in addition to the ongoing re-release of their entire back catalogue, will be releasing the complete Hyde Park gig on iTunes this Monday, August 13. If that's not enough, you can grab the somewhat confusingly titled Parklive (see what they did there?) in a 2-CD set the following week (August 20) and then… drum roll please… in a 5-disc, hardcover book version featuring the complete Hyde Park concert, a bonus disc of unreleased live tracks from this month's warm-up shows, a DVD of the entire closing ceremony concert and Blur Live At The 100 Club, featuring exclusive live tracks from their recent warm-up show at the legendary London club venue.
Do a little currency conversation and feel free to pre-order the digital, 2-CD or deluxe 5-disc versions of Parklive right here. See? It's not all so bad. You just stay right there while I go find some Hello Kitty band-aids for those claw marks.
