Everyone loves a good guy we can root all for. But all too often, we need a little danger in our lives. Enter the bad boys. There's just something about them that draws us in. The hookups are hotter, the unpredictableness is sexy, and we can't help but swoon when we get a little glimpse into their not-so-cold hearts. They each have a soft spot. And most of the time it's for a girl.
Maybe that's why we rooted for Pacey over Dawson, Jess over Dean and Sawyer over Jack. It's gotta be why we put up with Ryan Atwood and his ugly wifebeater for four seasons, right? There's just something about that rough-around-the-edges persona we can't help but love.

Bad Boy MO: He manufactures (and sometimes sells) meth with his high school chemistry teacher.
Soft Spot: Mr. White, Andrea and her son Brock.
Chuck Bass (Gossip Girl)
Bad Boy MO: Chuck Bass is the devilish prince of the Upper East Side. He's always scheming and always manipulating something or someone.
Soft Spot: Blair Waldorf.
Wade Kinsella (Hart of Dixie)
Bad Boy MO: Wade is Bluebell's resident bad boy even though he's not all that bad. He takes care of his dad, the resident town drunk, and tends bar at the Wammer Jammer.
Soft Spot: Zoe Hart.
Damon Salvatore (The Vampire Diaries)
Bad Boy MO: He's impulsive, selfish and he'll rip your heart out without thinking twice about it.
Soft Spot: Elena Gilbert, Alaric (RIP) and of course, his brother Stefan.
Harvey Specter (Suits)
Bad Boy MO: Harvey's driven and ruthless when it comes to his job at Pearson-Hardman. He'll do whatever he needs to do to get ahead.
Soft Spot: Donna, Jessica, Mike and his late father.
Caleb Rivers (Pretty Little Liars)
Bad Boy MO: Caleb's a foster kid with street smarts and the ability to hack into almost anything. Oh, and he's got long hair.
Soft Spot: Hanna, Lucas and the rest of the liars.
Dean Winchester (Supernatural)
Bad Boy MO: Dean avoids letting people get too close to him. He's stubborn and can get a little cocky when it comes to killing demons with his brother.
Soft Spot: "Watch out for Sammy."
