A relationship that was never 100% confirmed was just set straight because of a cheating scandal apology.
This is by far the most cringe-worthy celebrity apology you'll read this year. So much so, that it almost seems fake. Kristen Stewart moments ago just released a public apology to boyfriend Robert Pattinson and those close to her for cheating with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," she tells People.

The apology from the Twilight actress is so uncomfortable that you'd think a family member wrote it for her. But then again, this is Kristen we are talking about here.
Sanders does the same minutes later. "I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."
Kristen, 22, recently got caught kissing Sanders, 41, and the two are clearly not denying the situation. Any public announcement like this would have been thought of as unimaginable in years past. Kristen, to say something about her relationship? Kristen, going straight to the same media she's bashed before? Ironic how the first time she actually comes forward about something to the press is when she's confirming that she's cheated.
As for Robert, his views on cheating doesn't pan out well for the actress. "But there's a thing I've never got: That is, why do people cheat?" he told Italian Vanity Fair for its April issue. "I can understand the impulse, but not how you can keep two relationships going at the same time for long...I'm not the casual-affair kind of guy. If I choose to be with someone, it's because I really want it. When I have a relationship, I'm 100 percent into it."
