Taylor Swift is just as well-known for her impeccable blond curls as she is for her country-pop tunes, but the 22-year-old songstress ditches her light locks in exchange for something a little more, I don't know, autumn? HuffPo reports the longtime CoverGirl revealed her new brunette 'do for her latest print campaign, titled "See You, Be You."

Recently, Swift told Refinery29 that her Vogue photo shoot inspired her to change up her look: "I was so excited to be shooting the cover of Vogue that I let them cut bangs for me at the shoot. It turned out to be one of my favorite changes I've ever made to my hair. Moral of the story: Always trust Vogue."
For me, Taylor's new color doesn't seem to be the drastic change here: it's her straightened locks that turn me off. As someone who spent her entire preadolescence (and one regretful moment in her early twenties) with straight-across bangs, I know it's impossible to make those puppies look orderly in the wind. If CoverGirl killed the fan, then mayyybe this look would have a chance.
What do you think about Taylor Swifts new dye job? Do you prefer her as a blond?
