I've been on a bit of a mojito kick lately, and though nothing beats a traditional lime and mint mojito, it's always fun to play around with new ingredients. Because blueberries are in season for the summer (and they're full of beautifying antioxidants!), they're a great candidate for mojito muddling.
What You'll Need
- 4 oz Tequila Corrido Reposado
- 3 oz. Blue Agave Nectar
- 4 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
- 2 Handfuls Muddled Blueberries (about 20 berries)
- 4 mint leaves
- 1 oz. soda
Muddle blueberries with mint leaves. Put agave nectar, lime juice and tequila in a shaker with ice. Add blueberries and mint leaves to shaker, pour over ice. Finish with a touch of soda and a stick of sugar cane for garnish. Enjoy!
